In a pretty bourgeois house, La Petite Histoire offers 5 city cottages that are labelled with 3 épis and include comfortable living spaces, with refined decor, combining softness and authenticity. Located in the city centre, these city dwellings are an ideal option for short or long stays, for tourism, business trips, family holidays, a weekend with friends, a family event, or even temporary accommodation.
The lodges bear the first names of female artists who have marked the history of art: Yoko (Ono), Niki (from Saint-Phalle), Frida (Kahlo), Tamara (from Lempicka) and Rosa (Bonheur). La Petite Histoire invites you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere with a decor subtly inspired by each artist. It's up to you to choose the experience that suits you best among the five atmospheres offered.

The owners
Emmanuel OTTEVAERE & Cécile DURIEUX
Back in June 2020, Emmanuel and Cécile became the owners of a delightful manor house located in the city centre of Ath.
The challenge was to renovate the house up to date while preserving, as much as possible, the old elements that give it soul.
With a thirst to share their passion for art, nature, culture, discoveries in a warm and friendly place, Emmanuel and Cécile have opened five holiday apartments with warm and comfortable living spaces, which can accommodate 2 to 4 people and 4 to 6 people,
Passionate about art, Cécile and Emmanuel decorated the self-catering apartments in a personalised way in connection with an inspiring female artist who marked the history of art.
The Yoko, Niki, Frida, Tamara and Rosa lodgings each offer a pleasant, comfortable and warm place to live. The traveller who is immersed in the artist's universe, will be able to find a unique atmosphere and live a unique experience.
