This B&B is set in an old pottery making site from 1772, has a large terrace of 80 m2 and 5000 m2 of green space that is certified by the Natagora Nature Network.
Our bed and breakfast “la poterie” is located in the small village of Rebaix, only 5 km from Ath, 15 minutes from Pairidaiza, 30 minutes from Mons and Tournai, 45 minutes from Lille and 45 minutes from Brussels (by train). This is an old pottery barn from 1772, with a large red brick construction in an industrial style. We are only open on weekends (arrival Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
We offer 3 rooms for rent:
- Double bedroom with its private bathroom
- Suite which can be set up in 3 different ways: 1) Small suite which is composed of a bedroom with two 90x200 cm beds, a hall and its private bathroom. 2) Large suite which is composed of a bedroom with a 180x200 cm double bed, a hall and its private bathroom. 3) Family suite which includes the 2 bedrooms.
We have a pretty wooden terrace of 80 m2 and a green space of 5000m2 that is certified as part of the Natagora Nature Network, consisting of an orchard, a vegetable garden, areas of wild herbs and a more classic flower garden where you can joyfully read or have an appetiser. Guests also have access to the large living/dining room and the gym. Many books and comics are available to guests.
Our prices include a breakfast with mainly organic and local products.
The rooms are located on the second floor (no elevator) and the house is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
The house is located just 5km from Ath which is full of good restaurants including one which has just been awarded a Michelin star (Le Quai n°4)
You can also take nice walks in the area and the RAVeL is located 1 km from us;

La Poterie is a project we have had for 20 years when we bought this dilapidated old pottery from 1772. We renovated it little by little. Our project is mainly based on nature, calmness, the countryside and offers a haven of greenery and relaxation. We aim to produce the majority of the ingredients of your breakfast (eggs, bread, brioche, jams, jellies, fruits, vegetables) and according to the seasons. We also want to promote local producers (cheeses, charcuterie, yoghourts, etc.). The colours that we chose for the decoration are intended to be soothing and in harmony with the environment. If we decided to open a bed and breakfast, it is partly because we are both travel enthusiasts and we like to meet people from all backgrounds and cultures. Cooking is also a passion and preparing quality breakfasts for our guests is a real pleasure.
