This charming cottage is neatly decorated and restored with passion by the craftful owners. It is located in the heart of a rural village near Jodoigne. The landscape of the small garden changes according to the seasons, and is a haven of peace.
The village is close to the RAVeL (1 km) and on the node network, 3 km from the centre of Jodoigne where there are many shops and restaurants, 11 km from Tirlemont (station) and 50 km from Brussels and Liège.
The surroundings of the village are full of paths in the countryside that invite you to walk or cycle.
As mosaic craftsmen, we took great pleasure in transforming this small building ourselves. The decoration has been our main goal to create a harmonious, warm and rejuvenating place, using natural materials for insulation and finishes.
(wood wool, cork, hemp, lime). What we couldn't do ourselves was custom made by local craftsmen.
The choice of furniture is part of a circular economy approach. Family furniture, homemade or recovered and revisited by us find their place there, as do our mosaics made to measure for the holiday home.
We are also attentive to respecting the environment by using ecological cleaning products, refillable soap containers, and by offering sorting of waste and invoicing of charges (beyond three nights) according to the index reading, to encourage responsible consumption.
