Located in the picturesque Ardennes village of Rienne, the two lodgings A l’Abri du Clocher are based on the unique and crazy charm of a café-inn from the 1950s which has escaped the passage of time. Located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, at the center of an endless network of walks and mountain bike trails, “le Café de Pèpère” and “le Jardin de Zélie” are made for you if you are looking for a total change of scenery in a holiday cottage. Its capacity can go up to 9 bedrooms and 24 people in its complete configuration.
The warm rooms of this former café-inn were completely renovated in 2021, and can accommodate large groups and large family reunions.
The cafe and the large murals of the inn have kept their authenticity and their appeal of the past.

Nestled between the Meuse, Lesse and Semois valleys, the residence is only a stone’s throw from Bouillon, Beauraing, Dinant, Han-sur-Lesse and Vresse-sur-Semois. This historic building is equipped with table football and a billiard table, has a large multifunctional café with its historic bar that can comfortably hold 24 guests. There is also a lounge area, a TV area with a wood-burning stove, a dining room and billiard area, a large vintage kitchen with an open fire, new sanitary facilities and a peaceful south-facing garden with a grove. The setting allows all generations to find their happiness at the same time and in complete safety where beauty is found indoors and outdoors.

This place was renovated in 2021 and kept the peaceful orchard bordered by hedges and fruit trees. “Zélie’s garden” invites you to relax. Its kitchen and dining room in red formica tints and vintage style are reminiscent by their decoration and their colors, of the look of the American motels of the 1950’s. The four upstairs bedrooms have 11 beds. Equipped with brand new washroom facilities, they are in front of the south-facing garden.
