Located on the site of an old farmhouse dating back to 1900 and housed in a green setting, your hosts welcome you to their home that is just a stone’s throw away by crossing under the pergola. You will then arrive through the kitchen to the dining room for the sweet-savoury breakfast of several locally purchased produce. You can have your lunch in your room at the office area which transforms into a breakfast area, or outside on the table under the pergola in summer.
The rural surroundings are perfect to get some calm and re-energise yourself.
Well located through road access, you can explore at your leisure and visit the wonders of the Tournaisis region. Not far from Tournai (15 min), Ath (17 min), Brugelette (including Pairidaiza animal park – 25 min), or even Lille (45 min) or Brussels (60 min).
Even closer, the ‘Région des Collines’ will delight hikers and cyclists (node points).
Staying in “la Bergerie”alone will bring you that disconnection you need. Here, there are exposed beams and a pellet fire which warms the 5 metres under the roof with its live flame.
