The Cottage and Vineyard Le Nogal – Nature and Authenticity Stay in Chimay
In Seloignes, near Chimay, Le Gîte Le Nogal is an authentic 18th century clog maker’s house, renovated in 2023 with a high level of comfort (PEB A+). Combining old charm and modernity, it offers a warm atmosphere conducive to relaxation.
Located in the heart of nature, close to the forest, 350 m from a Natura 2000 area and next to our micro-vineyard Le Nogal, the cottage accommodates 6 people (+1 baby). It has 3 themed bedrooms, each with a private shower or bath, in a setting of exposed stones and wooden beams.
Ideal for a family stay in the Pays de Chimay, a few kilometers from the Château de Chimay, the RAVeL and numerous walks on foot or by bike. A characterful place to recharge 🌿🍇

After traveling for professional reasons for more than 20 years (Asia and North and South America), we decided to retire in the Chimay region, the “country” of our maternal great-grandfather, where we had spent some great times during our childhood. Le Nogal, an 18th-century farmhouse, deserved to be restored and was perfectly suited to our gîte project. Its original decor reflects our family history and our journey to the ends of the earth.
