Nestled in the heart of the estate, the House of the Steward seems straight out of a children’s fairy tale. With its look of a small woodland house, it evokes the stories that were read by lamplight, filled with nature, mystery, and sweetness. Behind this enchanted atmosphere lies a warm and comforting comfort. The old hearth harmoniously coexists with a modern stove, offering an ideal cozy atmosphere to gather, no matter the season. Its privileged location invites total disconnection. Just a few steps away are the Haltinne castle, its pond, its greenhouses, the park and deer park, the forest, the Struviaux river, and the orchard. Walks are plentiful, both within the estate and in the surrounding area, and each path seems to promise a new discovery. You can savor a timeless moment in the private garden or organize a picnic with a view of the Haltinne castle in the park (equipment is provided in the cottage). Upon request to the caretaker, a visit to the castle is possible, as well as a peaceful boat ride on the moat, departing from the dock. The region is also full of delicious local products, such as the Samson cheese dairy or the Ariqua Denis chocolate shop. Heritage enthusiasts will be charmed by the richness of the surroundings, including the Goyet caves just five minutes away and several Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia nearby, such as Thon-Samson, Mozet, and Crupet.

The Domain of Haltinne speaks to my interests and resonates with all my senses. My eyes rest on its old stones, on its completely green horizon, on the reflections of its ponds, on its lush fauna and flora, on its paths already trodden in the 17th century. In a time when everything is fast and everything is brief, at the Domain of Haltinne we take the time for the journey. Here, one does not see quickly. One sees and lives at the same time.
And I am fortunate to have a profession that aims to provide these experiences to our visitors.
The Domain of Haltinne is first and foremost its majestic castle, which is an exceptional heritage. A boat is available to our tenants to be able to tour the castle.
It is also its greenhouses, its park, its orchard, its forest, its small hamlet, its meadows, its ponds, and its fields.
It is still the harmoniously preserved whole site. Not a single aberrant construction disturbs the homogeneity of this typically Condrozian ensemble..
