Description
Stay in a unique place in the heart of Paliseul! “La Chambre Forte”, an atypical cottage set up in a former bank. Its 30 m² safe behind its armored door has been converted into a game room for fun moments with family or friends. Close to all amenities (shops, restaurants, etc.) and just steps away from the Ardennes nature, visits and activities. This cottage has been decorated and furnished to create a warm, relaxing and comfortable place! The price includes the provision of bed sheets and bath towels, cleaning of the accommodation, all charges (water, electricity, firewood, fuel oil, Proximus TV subscription, internet, etc.) but not supplements for your four-legged companion. For “fire safety” reasons, it is planned that this accommodation can accommodate a maximum of 5 people (children and babies included). In case of non-compliance, the stay may be terminated immediately and without refund. You can use the entire accommodation (3 levels) except for 3 small rooms locked (boiler room, storage room for the owner and the cleaner). Only one dog is allowed (cannot access the upper floor). Bikes welcome (closed and secure shelter). Babies and children welcome (baby bath – crib – changing table – high chair are available).

Practical information
- Payment methods : At booking, a 30% deposit of the total amount is required by bank transfer. The balance and a security deposit of €250 are to be paid 1 month before arrival by bank transfer with the mention of the name and arrival date.
The security deposit will be refunded by bank transfer within 2 weeks after departure from the cottage and inspection of the accommodation, minus any additional charge for the dog.
- Conditions d’annulation : If the client cancels their reservation more than 31 days before the stay date, they will receive the full price of the stay.
If the client cancels their reservation between 14 and 3 days before the stay date, they will receive 50% of the price of the stay.
If the client cancels their reservation less than 3 days before the stay date, they will not receive anything.
- Arrival time : According to reservations:
Weekend (2 nights): arrival on Friday between 4pm and 6pm
Long weekend (3 nights): arrival on Friday between 4pm and 6pm
Mid-week (4 nights): arrival on Monday between 4pm and 6pm
Week (7 nights): arrival on Friday between 4pm and 6pm - Departure time : According to reservations:
Weekend (2 nights): departure on Sunday before 8pm
Long weekend (3 nights): departure on Monday before 10am
Mid-week (4 nights): departure on Friday before 10am
Week (7 nights): departure on Friday before 10am - Available : Bed sheets and bath towels provided

I have a special affection for beautiful materials, fine fabrics, and everything natural. It is in this spirit that I decorated and furnished this cottage.
It is a great satisfaction for me to hear that my guests have appreciated the cottage, highlighting the calming atmosphere and the comfort of the place.
Keen on offering a “hotel-like” experience, I prepare each stay with care: beds made on arrival, sheets, linens, and bath towels provided, cleaning and laundry included.
The exceptional mention “Everything for the Dog” ensures a well-groomed welcome for your four-legged companion. Everything is provided for his comfort so that he can fully enjoy the stay as well.
The cottage is also labeled “Welcome Cyclists”, with a secure space for bikes and direct access to the Points-Nœuds network, ideal for discovering the region differently..
