Our guest house is located in Sart-Custinne, in the south of the Namur Ardennes, just a stone’s throw from Croix-Scaille (Alt. 505 m), on the edge of this quiet village between fields and forests.
The house, an old typical Ardennes stone farmhouse, dates back to 1855 and has been occupied by the family since the early 1900s. After renovation works completed in 2026, we had the idea to open guest rooms. But we still needed to find a name for our house, a name that makes sense! We thought a lot about it as a family, but nothing really appealed to us. So I turned to a cousin of my father. At 90 years old, with an infallible memory, she told me the story of our family and of the horse Mayanne, hence the name of our house.
Our house is perfect for a nature getaway for two, with family, or with friends. The atmosphere is friendly and soothing. You will have at your own pace access to our facilities and the natural surroundings..
