Holiday home - Stoumont - Au Vieux Noyer
View
This old Ardennes farmhouse was completely restored and is located in a small quiet village overlooking the valley. You will find a huge garden, a splendid view, and quality bedding. Quiet outdoors with barbecue and table tennis. Always in spotless condition for your arrival.
Your residence is located on the Parc Naturel des Sources and can comfortably welcome 6 to 8 people.
The century-old walnut tree, panoramic view overlooking the Stoumont hills and the village castle are perfect to recharge your batteries and relax.
This old restored farm has kept all the warmth of its original materials and is full of positive energy. What a pleasure it is to light up the little fireplace in the living room.
This region has many great walking paths to choose from through the private or common estates and natural reserves. You will find some of the most beautiful views in all of the Ardennes region.
The nearby Ninglinspo walking path is renowned for its beauty but there is also the famous rock called “La Roche Crahay” which is also known for its exceptional vibratory rate.
This place is exceptional for meditation or sylvotherapy, a practice that is known to improve mind and body from contact with the energy of the trees.
There are so many activities to choose from including Coo waterfall and Plopsa Coo amusement park, the Caves of Remouchamps, the Monde Sauvage safari park in Aywaille, La Reid animal park with the Forestia adventure park, the thermal baths in Spa, Stavelot Abbey, the Francorchamps circuit, the Forest museum and nature reserve, the "December 44" museum and its King Tiger tank.
Bellowing of the stag in September to November! With a bit of luck, you can see the wild deer and their offspring all year long in a nearby pre. You can observe the deer and beaver all year round.
Sheltered table-tennis table. Covered terrace and BBQ. Animals permitted according to conditions + €10/stay.
You will feel like at home here.

Conditions of reception of animals.
Your 4-legged friends are welcome.
I myself have collected many animals. In 2022, I have 8 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses and a pony.
However, as the cottage welcomes other people, for hygienic reasons, they cannot access the floors. A door closes the access above the stairs.
The animals are not allowed to climb on the armchairs (even if a blanket is placed there especially for them because the smells can stay on the fabrics very easily).
With regard to this last point, you can lay chairs over the armchairs for the night in order to prevent them from settling there.
Make sure that the animals do not scratch at doors, avoid making holes in the garden. Otherwise, the automatic lawn mower no longer works properly afterwards. Make sure that your animal does not bark constantly if you tie them up (out of respect for the neighbours).
Your cooperation is really important for us so that we can continue to welcome our four-legged friends and thus allow them to accompany their families on vacation.
Thank you again in advance.

Tourist information
The owner
Isabelle THEUNISSEN
My name is Isabelle. I love nature, animals, the great outdoors and horses but I also love to share. I helped create a local association specialised in the sharing economy and also created a local Facebook group for people to barter personal items for free.
When I created my holiday home, I wanted to make it a place for recharging your batteries. I wanted this place to be the place to go to with your friends or family to make the most of this great region.
I also organised the holiday home to maximise positive energy and comfort so that you can easily feel at home as a guest.
The decorations are truly authentic and have been passed down through the family. The water and oil paintings were made by my artist mother. I also included premium comfort bedding to make your nights even more peaceful.
I transformed the meadow full of weeds or nettles into a landscaped paradise all by myself.
I still wanted to keep the rugged side of the garden with mainly plants from the original ecosystem. Over the years, the garden has evolved.
I installed a gated play area to protect the kids. There is also a large dining table for your outdoor appetizers and deck chairs if you just want to be lazy.
The awning with its ancient beams perfectly represents the traditional architecture of Belgium. If it rains, you can still make the most of the beautiful views and fresh air.
Underneath, you have an open fire and BBQ, garden sofas, a patio table for your meals or ping pong for your fun parties.
I always want the animals to follow the people during their holidays. Of course, we make sure that hygiene and cleanliness remain our priority above all.
It is also really important for me that the local residents continue to live in a really peaceful setting and that should not change because of this residence. For this reason, I cannot accept young groups unsupervised by grownups who plan to host house parties. There are many other holiday homes designed for this use in the region.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to ask me. I also know many key points of interest if you want to catch a glimpse of the wild deer, stags or even beavers.
I think I am very lucky and happy to never have to leave the region and I am well aware of this.
I continue to be amazed by all the daily treasures I see as soon as I leave the house.
When I get off the motorway exit to return home, I think to myself how great life is around here.
A big welcome to those who would like to stay here.
