In the heart of Marche-en-Famenne, both our eco-responsible and slow design rooms are on the 3rd floor of a mansion for space to receive 1 to 4 guests. Two bright bedrooms are waiting for you!
Very close to the “green lung” of the city, Cochlea is the ideal place to relax and discover a superb region. This place is also ideal for work in peaceful surroundings while taking advantage of the convenience of city life.
Our guest rooms are located on the 3rd floor of a mansion that is characteristic of the style of the region. This place also recently became our family home. We wanted to renovate it with as many durable materials as possible, to make it comfortable and create soothing cocoons.
Come and enjoy premium comfort bedding and an organic and local breakfast.
The dining room and kitchen area are available for you to enjoy whenever you want.
On request, we provide you with a cot, games for all ages, books, and walking maps. We can of course recommend you with tours, restaurants and brasseries to discover in Marche-en-Famenne, as well as helping you find natural and zero-waste activities 😉

This room has wooded decor, calm and a soothing setting for 2 to 4 people. As it is modular, it will adapt to your wishes and will easily accommodate a small family (free for guests up to 3 years old – €10/child from 3 to 18 years old).
You will sleep in a large king-size bed made of raw wood that is equipped with a natural latex mattress and eco-labeled washed linen sheets. This is the best for peaceful and comfortable nights of slumber!
On the mezzanine floor, the two armchairs-futons easily extend into single beds, enough to accommodate a small family or friends on a stroll. For a stay for two, the mezzanine can then serve as the perfect lounge area for reading and relaxing after a day of exploring our beautiful region.
The bedroom has a private bathroom (shower, sink, wc), an office area and storage space.
On request, we provide you with everything you need for a child’s stay (cot, baby bath, changing mat).
Please note, however, that there is no security barrier for the mezzanine staircase. Young children should be supervised by adults.

The cabin bathroom adorned with lime makes this room a welcoming and rare cocoon to behold. A real cocoon in which to land gently!
You will sleep in a large king-size made of natural wood bed and equipped with a natural latex mattress and linen sheets washed with eco-label products. What more could you ask for peaceful and comfortable nights?
A futon chair on the mezzanine is the perfect seating area to relax after a day visiting our region or working. The futon can also be used to accommodate an additional person in the bedroom (€10 per extra child or €20 per extra adult).
The bedroom has a private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet), a workspace and storage space.
The local and organic breakfast is served on the ground floor.

I was a teacher for 15 years. I recently decided to make some changes to my career. I wanted to be able to be present with my children and do a job that is more in line with what I want today. Contact with others is vital to me as well as sharing ideas. I had already dreamed for many years of being able to welcome guests. I needed to make that jump. Cochlea is the activity that allows me to reconcile all of this: Guest rooms and workshops, all within an eco-responsible project that opens up all possibilities. I really love to meet people and help them savour our region..
