On the road to Azy which leads to an enormous forest area, facing the banks of the Semois, the holiday home of “Les vents d’Azy” is an ideal starting point for walks, by bike and by car. To the south, the small town of Florenville has all the facilities.
The holiday home has a superb view of the River Semois and the hills. The land extends all the way to the banks. To this is added a very high level of comfort, the result of meticulous and extensive renovation works. The garden is ideal for both children and adults. From a sporting and cultural point of view, the region offers a very wide range of possibilities.
The Orval Abbey with the ruins of the old abbey, the brewery museum and the monks’ shop are 12 km from the cottage. Bouillon and its thousand-year-old castle is a 20-minute drive away; there is also an excellent cinema.
Azy is very close to the French Ardennes with many remarkable sites such as the small village of Williers, the citadel of Montmédy and many others.

Child of diplomats, Roberto has traveled to many countries since his childhood. After meeting Christine, a Walloon who grew up in Brussels, when they were students, once married, the family spent a long time in countries like Mexico and Australia. One of our many passions is travel. Currently, Christine is passionate about cooking and travel photos, while Roberto loves certain small cars from the 1960s. In 1990, spending All Saints’ Day with friends in Orval, we began to discover and love the Gaume. After renting a house in the woods for four years and some holiday rentals in Chassepierre, we began looking for a house to accommodate the grandchildren (nine currently). This was done for All Saints’ Day 2004. A few years later, we acquired a plot of land 500 meters away, with 50 meters of banks on the Semois and many wild plants. A house that was.
