New ecological construction, in wood. Our 100% accessible cottage is located in a small typical Ardennes village. On the ground floor, overlooking the entrance hall, you will find a toilet and a laundry room. Upon entering the cottage, a living room with a large bay window overlooking the southwest-facing garden (33 acres) invites you to relax. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) and a beautiful table comfortably accommodate 6 people. Two spacious bedrooms (2 single beds in one, and 2 twin beds in the other) and an Italian shower room (and toilet) complete the ground floor. Upstairs, a large bedroom with twin beds, a shower room and a separate toilet complete the rental space. It is possible to only rent the ground floor (20% discount on the displayed rate). We have made sure to think about the planet: low-energy house, rainwater recovery, ecological lime paints, use of local wood, etc. The cottage is attached to the owners’ studio (intermittently present). The village is surrounded by forests for endless walks, where you may come across deer and roe deer, and listen to the deer rut in the fall. Children can play in the garden, a large terrace will welcome your summer meals, and a pleasant wood stove will gather you on cool evenings.
