The Hourpes cottage welcomes you in a green setting located on the edge of the Sambre River. Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Hourpes, our vacation home invites you to rest, serenity, and rejuvenation. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the trails and the Ravel network just a few steps away. Completely renovated in 2025, the cottage combines modern comfort and natural charm for an unforgettable stay. Its friendly atmosphere and sunny terrace will allow you to savor every moment. With a maximum capacity of 4 people, the independent accommodation welcomes you in complete privacy. Private parking. Halfway between heritage and nature, between the Abbey of Aulne, the medieval city of Thuin, and the Lakes of Eau d’Heure, it is the ideal starting point for discovering our beautiful region.

The accommodation… The cottage was completely renovated in September 2025, with an area of 70 m2. The accommodation includes a large open living room with kitchen, living room, dining room. In the living room, there is a 140 cm wide sofa bed that can accommodate 2 people. Outside, there is a large terrace and access to a private garden. Garden furniture is also available (barbecue, sun loungers, garden table, umbrella…). A secure shelter for 4 bicycles is entirely dedicated to travelers. The storage room is equipped with electrical outlets for recharging bicycles. A private parking inside the property can accommodate up to two vehicles.

Other information: The cottage is located 50 m from the Ravel bike network connecting Charleroi to Maubeuge and allowing access to most major Belgian cities. A railway stop is located approximately 500 m from the accommodation. Numerous hiking trails are accessible nearby.
