Description
Located in a quiet, countryside setting, less than 2km from the center of Aubel and near the Abbey of Val-Dieu. An old 18th century farmhouse, completely renovated in 2024, and its adjoining pastures: a bubble of pure tranquility that will burst at your convenience, for a few gastronomic or cultural delights at Val Dieu or in the surroundings of Aubel. This sets the stage for a ballet of contrasts and surprises in an extraordinary vacation spot. The courtyard, carriage entrance, and solid red brick facade betray the building’s agricultural past. Once a restaurant, the place is now shared between vacationers and their host. Horses grazing complete the postcard; on the hillside opposite, vineyards lend an unexpected touch of sweetness to this environment.

Jean-Pierre has always been a man of projects, passionate about his beautiful region of Aubel that he will love to show you. He knows his region well, and will advise you with passion for all your hiking projects, discovering historical places and all tourist attractions.
His long experience in holiday homes
In 2003, he transformed with his wife Ruth the beautiful house of his in-laws into a luxurious holiday home called ‘Boukai-Moulin’, classified 5 ears of corn. After the death of his wife, he decided in 2019 to sell this estate to the Géron family, who continues the activities of this large holiday home.
He then embarked in 2020 on the transformation and deep renovation of the Old Farm of La Strijk into 3 residences and 2 holiday homes.
The horses
They have always been part of the family universe.
Today, they are still an integral part of the landscape of La Strijk, in the meadows and stables right in front of the holiday homes..
