Description
Beautiful isolated building, located in a green setting and offering a pleasant point of view. Far from tourist concentrations, ideal for nature lovers, however within a radius of 30 km, visitors will find happiness. The rural cottage is located on Rue de la Chernaudame, a dead-end street and very quiet that borders the village of Auby with magnificent views and departures for walks leading to the Semois. The building consists of a equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a large living veranda with a splendid view, 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. One can observe squirrels, raptors in the sky, and perhaps foxes and wild boars if one is patient and lucky! The cottage is also located in a hunting reserve area and is often closed during these periods. It is generally closed from late October to early May. There is a new veranda since 2024 and an internal and external refresh in 2025.

Retired, in love with the Ardennes and especially the Bouillon region, in 2004 the acquisition of a typical small house located in rue de la Chernaudame in Auby-sur-Semois was made; Since 2005, the rural gîte has been classified with 3 ears of corn by the CGT and welcomes tourists during the high season from mid-May to early October. Living 100 km away, in Namur, I take on almost all the receptions and most of the departures, also having family and friendly contacts in the village of Auby. With some tourists, I maintain friendly relationships, some have been coming back for decades and sometimes for stays of 2 weeks. There is a new veranda since 2024 and an internal and external refresh in 2025. I can manage in Dutch, our most frequent tourists. – Valid authorization from the Walloon Region until 18/11/2029 – Valid fire safety certificate until 18/11/2029.
