Magnificent house part of the owners property was restored in 2015 back to its original architecture with carefully thought out design.
In the north of the Belgian Ardennes region.
Only 1 hour from Brussels or Maastricht and a small walking distance from the little town of Durbuy, Christiane and Pascale open their doors of this restored 19th century house full of original charm and authenticity. Surrounded by great landscapes, peace and relaxation, you will really enjoy your stay here as well as your walks, jogs or cultural outings. Take it all in without moderation whether you come here as a family or a couple or friends. The village is at the edge of the forest near the magnificent village of Durbuy. There is something to do all year around between the christmas market, chocolate hunting, beer trails, admiring antiques, castles, caves or just strolling around the natural habitats.

Christiane and Pascal have an overflowing passion for welcoming tourists and managing both cottages. Christiane contracted her passion when she was young and passed it on to her husband. Ten years ago, they took over the management of the family holiday home which was an old farmhouse only a few steps from their own home. A first positive experience pushed the couple to open a second lodge. In 2015, an outhouse on their property was completely transformed.
If the first holiday home “La Romaine” shows you a country style, the second holiday home, “G’Ardenne Blue” combines tradition and modernity. The old wooden beams have been restored and cross the night hall, the bedrooms and the bathroom. The kitchen is installed in a splendid and completely glazed extension.
Christiane and Pascal really appreciate nature. They both love the great outdoors and Pascal is also an experienced equestrian. And it is only natural that they want to share their passions with their guests..
