After passing through the park gate, you will leave your vehicle at the foot of a few steps that lead you directly to a large terrace facing south. The rustling of the purple beech trees, the surrounding fields, the passing birds remind you that you are in the countryside and yet 6 km away stand the 5 steeples of the Tournai Cathedral while 800 meters away, a row of poplars hides Europe’s largest hole: a former quarry now flooded and reclaimed by nature. The large bay window leads you directly into the spacious living room where you will find a sitting area with a smart TV, storage space, a sleeping area with a comfortable sofa bed (2 places), a dining area/well-equipped kitchen with doors leading to the bedroom (2 single beds or double bed, wardrobe; desk and baby bed on request), the bathroom (sink and walk-in shower) and the toilet. The accommodation is suitable for a single person, a couple, or a family with children, or even 3-4 adults. It is perfectly insulated and equipped with WIFI. The heating is a wood central heating system adjustable by individual thermostat. Access to the shared laundry room with the other cottage (on request). Barbecue and access to the garden and woods.
