The owner

Evelyne VAERNEWYCK

After a varied and enriching career spanning more than 30 years, I decided to redirect myself towards an even more rewarding choice involving my care for others.
At the very beginning, I trained as a nurse in Brussels.
However, my professional life changed paths and proved to be just as rewarding in managing shops, restaurants and hotels.
I have always been intrigued by eastern philosophies and ways of life after several trips to Asia including Thailand, Japan, Nepal and India.
I naturally fell into an initiation course for Chinese medicine in Lille as well as Shiatsu in various schools, Amma massage therapy and ayurvedic massage therapy in India during my spare time.
In 2012, I got my place in the body mind school of Louis Abrassart, now known as the “place of wellbeing”.
I also learned about Somatotherapy and its relation with the power of contact.

In 2015, I studied luxotherapy to further learn about helping people with particular needs.
After that, I acquired my knowledge of sophrology.

Only 2 and a half years ago, when I had to return to Belgium after spending 30 years in France between the Haute Savoie and North regions, I had the idea of combining a place to stay and my passion for the wellbeing of others.

I thus started off with my first accommodations consisting of a holiday home and 3 guest bedrooms hoping that I could apply my skills learned over the years with my clients.

I would like to make this place available for conferences, workshops and team building in the future.

There is a little of everything that I can take from my 30 years of professional experience to make this place into a unique and special setting.
