The Sterpigny farm castle (17th century), or Manoir de Sterpigny is ideally located between Houffalize and Gouy, in the heart of the Natural Park of Deux Ourthes.
Renovated at the end of 2021, the "La Tour" holiday home is the starting point for many walks, villages to visit and various activities (mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, adventure parks, etc.).
The cottage offers beautiful living spaces, 6 bedrooms (including one on the ground floor) and 4 bathrooms, as well as 3 toilets (of which 2 are independent toilets).
The cottage benefits from an enclosed inner courtyard with a volleyball court (badminton), barbecue, various outdoor games, and a room under the barn converted into a games room (table football and ping-pong table) and storage (bicycles, etc).
A new large games room was also added to the mix in the main building in 2023, with a pool table, table football, and a storage area for bicycles and other large items.
The charm of the past is preserved in the different parts with period tiles and floors, stone walls, doors, luxurious floors, beams and fireplaces. You will have everything you need to transform your evenings around a good little wood fire.
The building is listed as a Walloon Heritage Site and the first foundations date from the Tiberian era (between -40 BC and 37 AD).
The last big transformation took place in 1606.
Bronze sestertii from around 200 AD have been discovered in one of the towers of the castle.
TV, fireplace, stove, coffee maker/percolator, microwave, bath or shower, terrace, garden (fenced), bicycle shed, garden furniture, barbecue, car park, board games, volleyball court, free Wi-Fi, outdoor furniture and shed with brazier,
As this cottage is in a very calm area, the accommodation is not suitable for student parties, bachelor parties or other loud parties.

When I first visited the castle, I literally fell in love with this magnificent historic building.
I did not hesitate for a single second. I had to preserve this classified place, keep its authenticity and provide it with all the modern comforts for its guests.
This place is also linked to a beautiful family story. My mother Gisèle, my father Robert and my son Alexandre also fell in love with this very old mansion. The first foundations date back to around 0 BC. The last major renovation was carried out in 1606. A place steeped in history, we feel a soothing soul around us. You can easily let yourself unwind and relax here.
My father takes care of the improvements and the renovation, as well as the smaller details in the castle such as the paint work on glass, lamps and wooden sculptures. My mother also takes care of the decoration, the layout and the ideas. Alex tries all the games and activities.
We are also fortunate to have Joël, the concierge and guardian of this place, who will always welcome you with a smile and kindness!
Welcome to our home and enjoy every moment with family or friends at the corner of one of the open fires of the château-ferme.
The region is just beautiful, with so many beautiful things to discover!
