The owner
Isabelle VANDEBROUCK-GOBERT
Isabelle’s great grandparents were boat navigators. When they decided to leave the boat to live their last years on the mainland, they built a house on the banks of the Sambre, facing the shipbuilding docks. Since 1932, this house has remained in the family.
Isabelle and Ralf know this house well after having lived here for 4 years, before moving a few kilometres away across the border in Avesnois in 2002 for professional reasons.
In 2012, Isabelle became the owner. After 2 years of renovation works, the holiday home was opened on the 15th of February 2015.
