Located in Thuin in a Natura 2000 protected zone, next to the woodlands of Grand Bon Dieu and walking distance from the RAVeL network of non-motorised paths. This beautiful 17th century dwelling welcomes you for a relaxing stay with your family or friends.
The holiday home has 4 bedrooms and can welcome up to 9 guests; From the really nice terrace with a swimming pool, you can enjoy a view of the woodlands of Grand Bon Dieu, the river, the Biesmelle stream, and over the meadows where sheep and ducks live together in harmony. Decorated with taste, this beautiful place has all the comfort and facilities that you need to make the most of your stay.
You also have a fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, cooker, microwave, coffee maker, american fridge with freezer) with an adjoining utility room containing a washing machine and dryer. There is also a large dining room, a comfortable living room with an open fire, television and sound system as well as a garage for 2 cars. Free Wi-Fi, board games and bicycles are also available for your stay.
Upstairs, there is a large night hall that provides access to 4 bedrooms. There is a large bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and sink, as well as a shared toilet with the neighbouring bedroom. After that, you have a bedroom with 2 single beds. Another large bedroom with exposed beams, a double bed and a single bed with a bathroom, shower and toilet completes the floor.
Outside, there is a large terrace with a swimming pool and BBQ. There, you also have a view of the garden and a large meadow where sheep, chicken, geese, barnacles, and herons live together happily that overlooks the River Biesmelle.
The swimming pool is accessible from May to September (except for exceptional good weather at the beginning or end of the season) but it is only heated when the daytime temperatures are above 16° or at night when the temperature is above 10°.
When you leave the holiday home, you have direct access to the woodlands of Grand Bon Dieu where walking is a pleasure. Only 100 m from the holiday home, you are already on the 109/2 line of the RAVeL network for your cycling or walking excursions or even a tour aboard the old local tram. You can easily walk to the supermarket, pharmacies, bakeries and restaurants in the area.
