La Bovire was completed in 1928 by a master craftsman. You can easily see the particular style of interior design. The original deeds of the property mention the name of “la petite Bovire” as the name of the house and the garden. Otherwise I would have named the place “le refuge” which would have also been an appropriate name. We welcome you here to collect the keys to the entrance.

Nicole DEPOUHON
I was born in the countryside but I would say I am more of a city dweller. I have a background in Philosophy and Letters. I like Bastogne for its bistros, restaurants, shops. However I love most how Bastogne moved from the duty of memory to the work of memory; with its conferences, its museums, its commemorations, and its celebration of Christmas. During my travels as a historian, I became particularly sensitive to the defense and promotion of small heritage. It is a pleasure for me to share this inherited vessel of knowledge: "Goodness is only pleasant if shared" - Sénèque.
