The garden is accessible for guests with a picnic area and BBQ (available on request). There is also an area to relax or enjoy leisure activities including deck chairs, garden furniture, slides, a ping-pong table, a badminton area, and a petanque area. The garden also has an orchard and vegetable patch as well as a chicken coop and a duck sanctuary. Even though there are cats present at the residence, we apologise that we cannot accept other furry pets to come enjoy this space.
La Chrysalide is labelled “Bienvenue Vélo” (bicycles welcome) by the regional tourist board: This residence is based on the ground floor with an adapted reception and breakfast. This place also includes a secured and closed shelter for bicycles and even motorbikes. You are also near the SGR412 path. There are so many things to discover such as Unesco heritage sites, museums, as well as many castles in the Mons and Hainaut regions. Martine loves her region and is officially recognised as a guide by the town of Mons and can extend her knowledge of Mons to her guests. If you would like a private guide, book the "Chrysalide Butterfly" option by contacting the owner directly.
If you have any mobility issues or food allergies, please let us know and we will take care of the rest for you. You are more than welcome at our B&B.

The owners
Pascal & Martine WILLIAME
Whether it's the house or the garden, everything has been developed by the owners almost 30 years ago.
Back in 2010, the idea of La Chrysalide took root. The idea really started to blossom in 2015, when the annual European Capital of Culture came to the area.
The idea of opening La Chrysalide is to share a moment of warm welcomes and exchanges with guests from all over the world, while they discover the region.
Here, the atmosphere is family-like. The owners are attentive to your needs.
If you like to visit the region, Martine is a tourist guide in Mons and can give you tips for discovering the cultural and natural heritage in the Mons region and in Hainaut.
