Welcome to Rièzes! The caravan is located on a pretty property in a small, isolated and very quiet village.
It's exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped for 'unusual' accommodation, with everything you need inside and out.

Are you looking for peace and quiet above all else? Then you've come to the right place!
Weather permitting, you'll have your own private garden with furniture, BBQ and brazier. A large "communal" garden has a Zen area with a sauna, a water feature and a Nordic bath, as well as a real petanque area.
As for the caravan, it's spacious and has all the possible equipment except for the TV, which is deliberately left out in this place where our guests come to disconnect. Free WiFi access is available, however.
The village of Rièzes rises to an altitude of 325 metres and is 10km from the town of Chimay. It is also just a few minutes from Rocroi, a French fortified town.
A multitude of walking routes are easily accessible, and we even have detailed, explanatory maps at your disposal.
Do you cycle? The region is magnificent for lovers of true nature.
If you want to make the most of your stay without having to cook... we offer breakfasts (savoury and/or sweet) and even simple meals (home-made pizza made in Virelles) or full meals (aperitif, starter, main course, dessert and "made-to-measure" wine) for dinner.

Pay on arrival
The €150 cash deposit, which can also be used as a deposit for your breakfasts, use of the sauna or other on-site purchases such as wood for the brazier or charcoal for the BBQ.
Arrival time
Check-in is between 3pm and 6pm, but late arrival is also possible. For our organisation it is really important to know your approximate arrival time in advance, especially in winter.
Departure time
Check-out is before 11:00 am. An extension is possible for a supplement of €7.50 per hour and is subject to availability on the day of your departure.
Payment types
We do not have a card reader. However, you can use Payconiq via Smartphone. Of course, cash is always an efficient and up-to-date means of payment, and we do ask for a cash deposit, which can be used to pay for other extras if necessary.

Nathalie & Marc have been a couple since 1996. They each had their own business: bakery and photography.
The pandemic caused havoc... and made them aware of certain priorities. Goodbye Brussels, off to the countryside. The chirping of birds replaced the noise of engines, calm replaced the constant hustle and bustle, clean, invigorating air replaced pollution, and so on...
So why not share the benefits with others by installing two caravans to cater for couples in particular.
The two guest books already contain many complimentary messages. The breakfasts prepared by Nathalie are superb, especially as they are left at the door of the caravans, so you can enjoy them in complete privacy.
Here, nature is waiting to welcome you, and if you like walking or cycling, there are plenty of signposted trails nearby. But there's nothing to stop you enjoying the peace and quiet on site, so you can recharge your batteries naturally.
